The Best Food and Travel Instagram Accounts You Aren’t Following

best travel and food instagram

Instagram is one of the best places to get inspiration for travel and food. Often times the places I eat at I found them through Instagram! My favorite accounts to follow are those that share a mix of travel and food. For a fun little article to continue Foodie Friday I want to share some smaller accounts. If your account falls into this category please leave your link in the comments so we can all check it out and follow!

KT is an American based in Japan and her account is full of the cutest Japanese desserts I have ever seen. If traveling to Japan is in your future then her account will satisfy your sweet tooth!

Slovenia Food Experience is the best account to follow if traveling to Slovenia. Their Instagram highlights break down food recommendations by town so you can find the best eats all over Slovenia.

While Food Travelist breaks the 10k mark of followers so it isn’t under the radar, I wanted to make sure you don’t miss this one. Their account is FULL of dishes that make me want to hop on a plane instantly.

Marla is a former chef who offers Italian cooking classes in her bed and breakfast. Follow her account for a unique look into homemade Italian food. I’m definitely bookmarking her B&B to visit sometime soon.

Gloria’s food account of her meals in NYC is one of my all time favorites. Almost every single one of her photos are envy-worthy and might have you reconsidering NYC for your next trip.

Another account that isn’t exactly underrated but definitely worth checking out. Danielle is a food blogger that writes about food in LA and around the world. Lobster on avocado toast is such an upgrade!

I know, I know another NYC food account, but what I love about them is how diverse everyone’s content is because of the diversity in New York. I just love the deliciousness and positive vibes in this account so bookmark it for next visit!

Shameless plug for my Instagram account because I love to share travel and food! I currently reorganized my highlights to share some of my favorite stories from eating around Slovenia and Ljubljana.

Thanks!

I had fun putting together this list and I am always looking for new authentic accounts to follow. Share yours in the comments and maybe you will see your account on my next list!

Thank you as always for taking the time to read Wandering Helene and keep an eye for an upcoming article this weekend about Easter in Slovenia. I will be learning how to make potica and coloring eggs in the Slovenian way.  -Helene
